Rural Healthcare
The purpose of the grant program is to increase the number of individuals training in healthcare occupations that directly impact patient care; and alleviate healthcare workforce shortages by creating sustainable employment and training programs in healthcare occupations (including behavioral and mental healthcare) serving rural populations.
Using a grant from the Department of Labor, the Greater Ohio Workforce Board is working in partnership with Allen, Champaign, Fulton, Highland, Lawrence, Ottawa and Wood counties.
When will the program be in effect? From February 1, 2021 through January 31, 2025.
