The Highland County Prosecutor’s Office is seeking a dedicated and certified Peace Officer to fill the role of Substance Abuse Recovery Coordinator. The Substance Abuse Recovery Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting individuals struggling with substance abuse and addiction on their path to recovery. This position requires a compassionate, understanding, and motivated individual who can work collaboratively within a team setting. This position will also be responsible for assisting individuals in their recovery journey, prevention in the community, coordinating with relevant agencies, collaborating with other counties, responding to overdose calls, and working towards family reunification in cases involving Child Protective Services.
