Family Recovery Services is seeking an open-minded, self-motivated and reliable candidate to fill the position of a Family Peer Mentor as part of Ohio START. The Family Peer Mentor will be an active member of the Ohio START team, and will provide peer support to families involved with Highland County Children’s Services and a recovery program. As part of the team, the Family Peer Mentor will have an office at Highland County Job and Family Services and will work closely with the Ohio START caseworker(s). The goal of Ohio Start is to keep families and children safe together, in Highland County this a joint effort between Family Recovery Services and Highland County Children Services. The START Family Peer Mentor will have a caseload of 10-12 families. This is a modified, full-time position offering flexibility to the selected candidate; availability during traditional business hours (8a-4:30p) is required at least 24 hours per week.
