Salary:$8.50 – $14.72 Hourly

Job Duties: Assists higher-level Human Capital Management staff in monitoring, preparing &/or processing forms & reports for non-primary human resources subprograms. Uses personal computer (e.g., Personnel Action (PA) Tracker, Microsoft Word & Excel) to prepare & process PAs & related paperwork for all temporary programs (e.g., Temporary Summer Help (TSH), College Internship, Winter Seasonal). Prepares Physical Abilities Test (PAT) & Reading Comprehension & Math (RCM) test information (e.g., uses Microsoft Word & Excel software to prepare & send letters & information to candidates, assists in conducting tests, prepares post-testing information).
Uses telephone, Microsoft Word verbally or in writing, to inquiries from employees & general public. Assists with open enrollment & advises employees regarding employee health benefits program (e.g., provides information & literature to employees regarding health, dental & vision benefits; assists employees in making benefit plan changes; helps to resolve employees’ benefits-related issues). Uses personal computer (e.g., Microsoft PowerPoint) to prepare presentations for new employee orientation sessions & present information as needed. Assists internal & external customers in completing applications (e.g., explains completion procedures). Completes employment verification & reference forms (e.g., requests & reviews driving abstract & background checks, documents reference checks).
Minimum Qualifications: Must be enrolled in a college or university and in good academic standing.
Majoring in Human Resources or Business Administration.

Major Worker Characteristics: If operating a state owned vehicle, must show proof of valid driver’s license.
This position is overtime eligible based on FLSA Standards.

Supplemental Information:
The rate of pay is based upon the student’s academic status (which is determined by the college or university):
Freshman (1st year)= $8.50 – $11.72
Sophomore (2nd year)= $9.00 – $12.22
Junior (3rd year)= $9.50 – $13.72
Senior = $9.75 – $14.72
